Where to write to Beedlectrics, how quickly we answer, and how corrections are handled.

Beedlectrics is written and run by a small group, and this is the page that tells you how to reach them. Whether you have spotted an error in something we published about Plain, safety-first guidance on home electrics for ordinary homeowners, have a question an article did not answer, or want to talk business, it all starts at one address.

The address

[email protected]

One inbox, watched by the people who write here. No queue number, no autoresponder, no bot that closes your message after a week.

Making it easy to reply to

We answer specific questions much faster than general ones, so it is worth a minute of extra typing.

  • What you need, in one line. Everything else can come under it.
  • The address of the page in question, copied rather than paraphrased.
  • Browser, device and a screenshot if you are reporting something that looks broken.

Turnaround

Most messages get an answer within two working days. Longer questions take longer, and when something needs checking before we can give a straight answer we would rather be slow than wrong.

Working with us

Proposals go to the one inbox like everything else. We take on very few, and we say no to most, so check the editorial policy before investing effort in a pitch.

Where we have to say no

We are a site that writes about Plain, safety-first guidance on home electrics for ordinary homeowners, not a service that acts for you. That means no account recovery, no standing between you and a third party, and no one to one advice. The reasoning is in the legal notice.

If we got it wrong

Quote the line you think is wrong and say what it should say instead. That is enough. The editorial policy sets out what happens next, including when a correction gets a visible note.
